1st Day: ATHENS – CORINTH CANAL – MYCENAE – NAFPLIO
Departure for the 2 Days Argolis Tour, from our Athens central hotel or the terminal, early in the morning. Driving westwards we arrive at Corinth Canal, where we’ll have a short stop to admire the breathtaking view and take some photos. The Corinth Canal is a junction of international sea transport and serves ships coming from the western Mediterranean and Adriatic on route to eastern Mediterranean and black sea ports and vice-versa. The Corinth Canal has a length of 6.343 meters. Driving along the coastal road we arrive at Mycenae. Mycenae was the richest, strongest and the most powerful palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece. “Mycenae ‘Rich in Gold’, the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, first sung by Homer in his epics, is the most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece. The Mycenaean civilization was one of the greatest civilizations in ancient Greece. We’ll visit the archaeological site of Mycenae, to see the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Palace and its fortification wall, the cemetery, the Treasury of Atreus. Then, we depart for Nafplio or Nauplia,  1st  capital of Greece in 1829. Leisure time at this beautiful seaside town. Dinner and overnight in Nafplio.

2nd Day: NAFPLIO – EPIDAURUS ANCIENT THEATER – ATHENS
Breakfast at our hotel and we depart for Epidaurus. We’ll visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus. The theater is marveled for its exceptional acoustics, which permit almost perfect intelligibility of unamplified spoken word from the proscenium or scene to all 12,000 spectators, regardless of their seating. All the benches and thrones of the theater have inscriptions with the names of the donors while implying a direct relationship of the monument with the cult of Dionysus. After our visit, drive back to Athens. We’ll arrive in the afternoon. The Mycenae-Nafplio-Epidaurus tour is an excellent choice for the visitors of Greece.
